Professional Summary
Hello and welcome! I'm a licensed professional counselor and I am passionate about working with people across the lifespan in individual, couple, and family therapy. I have experience supporting anxiety, ADHD, Autism, depression, educational/occupational dynamics, emotional expression and regulation, family dynamics, holistic health, suicidal ideation, and trauma. When meeting with me, you can expect an empathetic, authentic, advocating, and safe space. It is a sign of strength to know when to seek support, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you.
I have training and experience in biofeedback, biomedical research, crisis assessment, mindfulness strategies, VR Therapy, and neurodiversity dynamics. I am dedicated to helping and creating safe spaces for individuals from diverse backgrounds. As an adopted Korean American and a member of the LGBTIA+ community, I understand the impact that identity and culture can have.
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, receiving the Distinguished Graduate Award for my commitment to multicultural competence and social advocacy. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology and Interdisciplinary Honors from Loyola University of Chicago. I’m also part of the Asian Mental Health Collective’s Lotus Therapy Fund, which helps make therapy accessible to the Asian community. In my free time, I enjoy basketball, football, baseball, rollerblading, skiing, music, drawing, exploring the city, and spending time with friends. I also love relaxing at home with my cat, Momo, and watching Abbott Elementary.
