Ashley Houchin

Professional Summary

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training and experience in development across the lifespan. I am the owner of Lotus Bloom Psychology and I supervise our staff and training students. Clinically, I enjoy working with individuals on a wide range of issues and have a passion for supporting ADHD, Autism, women's health, parenting struggles, and child advocacy. I'm glad you're reaching out for support.

I have more than 10 years of experience working in various settings including assessment clinics, therapeutic day schools, psychiatric hospitals, and private practice. I have training and experience working with survivors of sexual trauma. I obtained certified training in the evaluation of ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and Depression. I am specialized in working with neurodivergent individuals. I have experience diagnosing many co-occurring disorders including Sensory Processing Disorder, OCD, Eating Disorder, and Substance Use.  I am committed to growth and continue to enhance my skills through training, consultation, and supervision.

I earned my Masters of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology's APA-Accredited program. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in Psychology from Baker University in Kansas, where I grew up.

In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and friends.
