Our Process
Many people come to our practice seeking to better understand themselves. Receiving a diagnosis can help. Diagnostic testing is used to clarify your diagnosis. Our evaluations are neurodivergent informed and we are specialized in distinguishing ADHD and Autism from other symptoms.

Number of Appointments
We typically schedule between three and five testing appointments. The number of appointments depends on the reason you are seeking assessment. During your first appointment we will collect background information and history, as well as clarify your symptoms. This will help us to clarify the number of appointments necessary to complete your assessment. We aim to complete the entire process, from first to last appointment, within six weeks. This is not a guarantee but a goal.
Adult Evaluations
During the assessment process you will complete cognitive tests and neuropsychological tests in order to clarify the root of your distress. Our process is quick, easy, and can be typically be completed online for adults.
Diagnostic evaluations begin with an initial appointment to collect information about your background and history. Next, we meet to administer neuropsychological testing using screen-sharing abilities and our online platform. The administration of tests can take one or more appointments to complete. Finally, we provide your evaluation results with a formal explanation of your diagnosis and a list of personalized recommendations.

Child Evaluations
During the assessment process your child will complete a series of cognitive tests and neuropsychological tests in order to clarify the root of their distress. Our process streamlines and portions are completed online. However, most of the time, children must complete testing in-person at our Lombard office location.
Diagnostic evaluations begin with an initial appointment with you and your child present to collect information about your child's developmental history. Next, we meet with your child to administer cognitive and neuropsychological testing. The administration of tests can take one or more appointments to complete.
